Why I ditched Maple Sap Bags (Squirrels Won!)
Some maple syrup seasons teach you more about wildlife than trees. For years, sap bags worked well enough for our small maple setup. They were easy to hang, simple to store, and inexpensive compared with buying a full set of buckets. They were simplistic in the fact that they hung out in the woods and from a distance you could see if they needed to be emptied.
